AS2 HYBRID END SEALER IS HERE!

U·C Coatings Corporation, the manufacturer and supplier of wood protection products, has a new hybrid end sealer to protect and conserve valuable hardwood logs and lumber.

ANCHORSEAL 2 (or AS2) is a hybrid of new technology polymers and petroleum wax that seals the ends of logs and lumber to protect against end checking and costly degrade.

Modeled after the industry standard, ANCHORSEAL, AS2 is made from less petroleum-based raw material, making it a “greener” and more economical choice for customers. While AS2 may cost less, it still provides the same level of protection as the original, with greater stability and even less dripping during application.

“We are excited about the development of ANCHORSEAL 2,” says owner and CEO, Norm Murray. “Once our testing customers approved the new product, our challenge was to identify and install the new technology equipment for producing AS2. In today’s world, we’re glad to introduce a new high-quality product that is less expensive and friendlier to the environment.”
